How does your research change our lives?

In basic research, which mainly characterizes the social and economic sciences, the influence on the everyday life of citizens is indirect and not so obvious, although important. As characteristically stated by the Associate Professor, Mr. Zarotiadis: “the impact of our research on society is much more obvious than the impact on the everyday life of citizens, because precisely with the social and economic sciences, our purpose is to improve the result of the production process in the well-being of society. In particular, international economic relations and sustainable development are issues related to the two main challenges of our time, which concern the identification and management of the rapid internationalization of economic and social relations, but also the effort to achieve sustainable development”
